Implementing Statute n°2015-990 of 6 August 2015 for economic development, activity and equal opportunities and Decree n°2016-230 of 26 February 2016 regarding specific professional legal rates and interprofessional funds providing access to law and justice, the Ministerial Order of 26 February 2016 setting regulated notary rates introduced a new schedule and the possibility for notaries to charge, under strictly defined circumstances, discounted fees according to type of real estate, interest and deed.
In pursuance of the Statute, discount rates have to be flat and equal for all at a given date.
