Official rates – Discounted fees

Implementing Statute n°2015-990 of 6 August 2015 for economic development, activity and equal opportunities, the Ministerial Order of 26 February 2016 setting regulated notary rates and Decree n°2016-230 of 26 February 2016 regarding specific legal professional rates and professional funds providing access to law and justice, introduced new rates and the possibility for notaries to charge, under strictly defined circumstances, discounted fees according to type of property, interest and deed. In pursuance of the Statute, discount rates have to be flat and equal for all at a given date. To comply with posting requirements under the new regulations, an extract from the Order setting the new rates may be accessed (in French) here and schedules with relevant discounts for A&A fees are provided hereunder.
